This is so lovely Suzanne - I could talk all day about this. But, for now… my midlife crisis allowed me to get in touch with my body on another level - definitely i view it as sacred these days - I happily think of it as a temple… A particular peace of sacred/sexual work that I feel was important to me in perimenopause when all hell was breaking loose inside me (psychologically) was ‘Aphrodites Magic: celebrate and heal your sexuality’ by Jane Meredith - I still carry the belt I created magically to any ceremonies I attend. And I still have the journal of that work.

thank you for sharing.. And please talk all day about this. I would love to hear.. But I also want to reframe the phrase "midlife crisis" as a positive thing in our life.. Let all hell break loose and discover a different relationship with your body where you become born anew, in a way you become the egg, or the baby that can be nourished by you.. I will have a look at that book. It sounds interesting.. and especially to create a magical belt.. in TCM the belt would be the Girdle Vessel, that which protects the most precious part of our body, and can also open up to invite energies in.. and we can chose what to allow in.. Warmest wishes to you and your magical belt.. and your sacred body...
