Regarding the illustration, usually the baby is in the uterus, not the stomach, regardless of its presentation.

It is a figurative illustration, rather than anatomically drawn.. I quite like the folds like silk cloths lining the womb.. I didn't see them as indicating the stomach.. I'd be interested how you saw that..Thanks for commenting though and for reading the article..

Great question. It’s shaped like a stomach, not a uterus. There is a tube leading to it, positioned exactly where the esophagus inserts into

The stomach. There is a tube leading out of it, exactly where the duodenum leads out of the stomach. It basically looks like AI did its best to draw a baby inside a hollow organ but got the hollow organ wrong, and now the poor baby is being digested.

Hmm.. yes AI is not always that accurate, but I suppose I was looking at it more as an idea.. Graphics is not my forte!...
