Do you want to re-write your life's story?
explore how patterns are created in your body so you can unravel them to live more fully
Would you like to travel with me as I write about our shared journey? Would you like to explore with me the different gifts and challenges of each phase of life so you can be more fully you. Explore how patterns are created in your body so you can unravel them and live more fully and vibrantly. Discover how your experiences from conception to death leave a deep impact on who you are and how you can transform them to create a new relationship with your body and emotions.
I’m working on my fourth book which is about our journey through life from conception to death. How we say goodbye to the earth is not so different from how we say hello and I’ll explore these overlaps in our journey. I’ve been supporting women and their unborn and new born babies with shiatsu since the 1990’s, along with people at all stages of their life including in their dying process.
Even if you don’t experience all the possible phases of life, such as pregnancy, you can still learn from reading about them the different ways in which they influence you. Even if you don’t have children, you have been a child. Even if you have not been pregnant, you have experienced life in the womb. Even before you die, you can journey to the end of your life and look back on how you lived and how you might want to say goodbye to the earth. Whatever stage of life you are at you can learn both from the previous stages and the ones you are yet to live.
There are key moments when it is easier to access opportunities to break free from the past and make lasting changes. The ancient Chinese called these “gateways”. They include the transitions of birth, puberty, pregnancy and the menopause and are marked by hormonal changes. We recognise the symptoms of moody teenagers, postnatal depression, or perimenopausal hot flushes, but don’t fully understand what is happening nor talk about the power of these moments.
I’ll be drawing on the wisdom of modern science and ancient Chinese medicine, I’d love to hear your thoughts and please feel free to ask if anything doesn’t seem clear.
I look forward to sharing the journey with you.
